"I worked at a Ray Hunt clinic in Thermopolis, Wyoming, in 1986. I got a lot of
one-on-one time with Ray working behind the arena those 2 days.I truly believe
Ray would be extremely proud of what Carson is doing. No one explains the
how-to and why about the steps in training a horse as well as Carson James!!! Period!"

- Tom O.

- Missy K.

"It's incredible how quickly he reads a horse...knows what they need..establishes trust and leadership...works the pressure release timing; sometimes literally in seconds, and you have a different animal. Carson is the best!"

- Jannette M.

"Wow! Just got back from the Carson James clinic in Hermiston, OR and I can't even put into words how great it was!! If you have an opportunity to go to a clinic, you need to go!!!! Puts all into a completely different level of thinking."

- Linn E.

"Thank you Carson! After Watching all your videos and attending your clinic, I have finally found the confidence to trail ride alone. Because of a very bad experience on a previous horse, I was very hesitant to ride alone, and I worried about everything that could go wrong. Today I applied all your wisdom and had an awesome 3 hour ride. Just me and my horse!"

- Michelle A.

"I'm having the best time on my horse! Attending the Cottonwood clinic was so incredibly insightful and I really learned so much about pressure, timing, and release.

It makes such a difference to be there and really have a chance to "feel" it first hand! Having fun again! Thank you!!!"

- Amy C.

"He rode almost every horse in the clinic with nothing on their heads and had them basically doing a reining pattern. It was jaw dropping. (Most of these horses were green broke at best. There was every level of horse and rider; ranging from rescue horses, mustangs, backyard pets, 2-4 year old colts, all the way to reining, and barrel horses.)

I highly recommend it to any and everyone.
Many of us barrel racers should take one weekend worth of high dollar entry fees and go to one of his clinics. I believe it will bounce us forward in our pursuits 110%."

- Joe D.

"I have to say that the Carson James Clinic was worth every cent and will absolutely do it again next year if he comes back to CA!!

Not only was there a day and night change in the understanding between my horse and I, but applying what I brought home from the clinic as well as some tips from Carson in dealing with my horses...all I can say is UNBELIEVABLE and THANK YOU Carson!!!!"
